The Best Family Trip to Costa Rica!

The trip was amazing. The RIU Guanacaste was wonderful. About 45 min drive from the Liberia airport. We had a beautiful ocean view from our balcony. And thank you for the goodies! It was so nice to be on the beach but also have a great pool for the kids. We really enjoyed the buffets at every meal. The boys loved all you can eat and drink though!! The shows every night were sometimes cheesy but entertaining.

The best part was our adventure at www.vandarahotsprings.com. We did horseback riding to the ziplines to the water slide to the volcanic mud to the hot springs with the swim up bar and massages!! Amazing day.

The next adventure was a catamaran ride from our beach to a bay for snorkeling. The weather was a little dreary but we had the boat to ourselves for snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. Plus the captain made us our best meal of the trip!

Another day we drove to Tamarindo beach for surf lessons and then to Flamingo Beach for dinner and the sunset right on the beach. Our driver also took us to see monkeys and feed the iguanas.

We were so impressed with how nice everyone was and how safe we felt. We totally wanted to stay and live their simple life. As they say " Pura Vida."
