Shannon & Rob's Love Story: an interview with the wedding couple

Reception Location: Grand Garden **On the Menu at the Reception: **Trio of ceviche, chili & poblano veloute, grilled ribeye pork chop with cactus flan & sweet potato puree, crème brulee.

Wedding Entertainment: DJ All Music – our entire group commented on how great the playlist was. All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. The glow sticks and balloons were a really great touch. Our dance floor pictures are epic! 

Extra Touches: We were married on Mother’s Day so we provided a daisy as a token of appreciation to all of the mothers, mother figures, present and future. Instead of clinking glasses, we asked guests to shake their maracas for a kiss. 

Favorite Thing about their Destination Wedding: Having all of our favorite people in one place at one time. It was incredible to see all of our families and friends connect on such an intimate basis. Being able to spend time with people over an entire week made it feel like a big party, with a wedding thrown in, rather than the other way around. 

Once Piece of Wedding Planning Advice for all Brides-to-be out There: Relax and enjoy the time you spend planning, your entire trip and most importantly, your wedding day. Understand that you can’t plan for everything. I promise, things will come up. Roll with it; turn whatever comes up into an epic story to tell. Don’t sweat the small stuff…..it will only take away from the magic of your day. 

Overall Experience with Azul Fives, the Wedding Planning Team + Travel Agent: I can’t begin to express the gratitude I have for our Travel Agent, and wedding team. They were my dream team. They executed flawlessly before we left and turned our vision and plans into reality while we were there.

Everyone at Azul Fives was so accommodating and gracious. They know how special a wedding is and went out of their way to make it memorable for not only us, but our guests.
